Antique 19th Century Red Lacquer Small Wedding Chair with Drawer

Description

Small antique 19th century Chinese wedding chair finished in red lacquer and featuring intricately carved floral fretwork with figural and floral carvings to the central back splat. Framed in black and accented with gold, the carvings really stand out and there is a small drawer below the seat with carved front and original metal drop pull.
There is wear, losses and imperfections all adding to the old world charm of this fabulous little chair and there is a piece of fretwork missing on the left front leg. Over all it is in solid, sturdy condition with age appropriate flaws.
